Close to 240,000 tons of various chemicals, bitumen, sulfur, vacuum bottoms, I-beams, iron ore, aluminum ingot, gold bullions, and frozen chicken were supplied at Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Wednesday’s trading. According to IME’s Public Relations and Foreign Affairs Office, the export trading floor played host to 100,000 tons of pelletized iron ore, priced at $18 per ton, as well as 18,300 tons of bitumen. Moreover, 50 kg of various gold bullions, 300 tons of aluminum ingot 99.7%-purity, with the base price of 72,358 rials per kg, 420 tons of alloy ingots, and 3,311 tons of I-beams, valued at 16,700 rials per kg were offered on the industrial and mining trading floor. Elsewhere on the oil and petrochemical trading floor, 60,000 tons of various grades of bitumen, 35,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 20,000 tons of chemicals, 2,700 tons of sulfur, and 100 tons of argon gas were displayed on the board. Finally, the agricultural trading floor played host to 700 tons of Russian barely as well as 2,000 tons of frozen chicken.
