Interbank bank data services between provinces will go offline for a week from Wednesday, for infrastructural changes in the network. “Point to point” (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) interstate Data Services of a number of subscribers of some banks, institutions and organizations, will be impaired on January 4-11 from 22:00 pm for 12 hours, the Telecommunication Company of Iran (TCI) announced. The cut-off is for moving interstate banking network communication equipment and it was coordinated between TCI, bank officials and other relevant government bodies. Banks and institutions involved in the project include lenders Ansar, Sina, Keshavarzi, Saderat, Industry and Mine, Saman, Refah, Export Development Bank, Karafarin, Refah Kargaran, and Parsian E-Commerce Co. as well as the Securities and Exchange Organization.
