Four-hundred and ten mineral and industrial projects will be inaugurated on the 36th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution (February 11, 2015), Mehrnews reported. The projects, worth 51.24 trillion rials ($1.86 billion based on official exchange rate), will create direct jobs for more than 15,000 people. Khorasan-e-Razavi with 62, Alborz with 30, and Golestan with 28 projects top the list. The largest investments in mineral and industrial projects have been made in the western province of Lorestan with 7.51 trillion rials, Markazi province with 6.51 trillion rials, and Kerman in the southeast of the country with 6.3 trillion rials. The highest rate of employment creation would take place in Khorasan-e-Razavi province with 1,291 people, Isfahan with 1,252 people, and Qazvin with 1,155 people. Every year, on the occasion of the Islamic Revolution anniversary, hundreds of factories and industrial plants are inaugurated and dozens of national projects are unveiled across the country.
