Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME)’s industrial and mining trading floor featured various types of I-beams offered by Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC) on week’s first trading day.

According to IME’s Public Relations and Foreign Affairs Office, the MSC offered 30,000 tons of I-beam with the base price of 16,410 rials per kg, as well as another cargo of the same commodity with the base price of 16,800 rials on the industrial and mining trading floor. In addition, Esfahan Steel Company also supplied 10,350 tons of different types of I-beams on the same floor.

The agricultural trading floor played host to 500 tons of local corn priced at 8,500 rials per kg, 200 tons of white sugar with the base price of 21,000 rials per kg, 2,000 tons of frozen chicken, and 1,000 tons of durum wheat.  

Furthermore, about 26,730 tons of various petrochemicals and polymers were put up on the board of the oil and petrochemical trading floor. Epoxy resin, styrene, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, heavy aromatic, ammonium, paraxylene, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, toluene diisocyanate, and caustic soda, were among the commodities on this floor. Moreover, 46,100 tons of various grades of bitumen, 42,000 tons of vacuum bottom, 3,300 tons of sulfur, and 2,000 tons of lube-cut oil were offered there.

Elsewhere, on the export trading floor, 9,150 tons of bitumen 6070 were offered by local suppliers to potential customers at overseas markets.

All in all, more than 175,000 tons of commodities were offered on the IME’s spot market.
