The 18th edition of Mashhad Auto Show, one of the main automotive fairs in Iran, is set to open on August 7, in the capital city of northeastern Khorasan Razavi Province. Local car manufacturers such as Iran Khodro, SAIPA, Bahman Group, Karmania, Safe Khodro, Kavir Motor, Ramak Khodro, along with parts makers and related industries, are scheduled to take part in the four-day event, wrote local automotive website Asbe Bokhar. Chinese firms Changan and Haima will independently debut cars during the exhibition. Business delegations from Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan are to participate in the event. The three are among target markets of Iran-made cars. The event will feature special panel discussions on how to enter the stock market. Makers are poised to offer enthusiasts test-drives of their latest models. A section is also to be allocated to showcasing vintage cars. Hermes Business Idea Company is to organize the event which will be held at the Mashhad Permanent Fairground. The visiting hours for Mashhad Auto Show will be from 4 to 10 p.m.
