Shahid Bahonar Engineering College in Shiraz signed a memorandum of understanding with a subsidiary of the country’s largest automotive company Iran Khodro on the establishment of a joint training center.
The MoU was signed by a deputy director at ISACO (Iran Khodro Spare Parts and After-Sale Services Company) Mohammad Shafeiyan and the college’s president, Mohammad Mehdi Alavian-Mehr.
Shafeiyan, chief of ISACO’s technical training bureau, stated that as per the MoU, ISACO is set to hold workshops in the college, introducing the latest developments in technology to faculty members, and providing students with the opportunity to attend up-to-date training courses, reported IRNA.
“Updating the syllabi, developing educational material and assisting students and faculty members in creating prototypes automotive parts,” were the goals listed by Shafeiyan for the agreement in question.
