Private domestic automaker Bahman Group says its latest sedan Besturn B30 will arrive in the market this week. The firm unveiled the model and started presales during the Mashhad Motor Show in northeastern shrine city in August, promising to deliver the pre-sold units by the end of October, local automotive website Khabar Khodro reported. The model, which was initially produced by the Chinese carmaker FAW Group under the name Besturn, is now assembled from CKD units by Bahman Group on the outskirts of Tehran in collaboration with Iran’s Crouse Group, a major local auto parts supplier. B30 is equipped with a 1.6 liter 107 hp engine attached to a 6-speed automatic transmission and is priced at 585 million rials ($14,625).
