The first unit of Chinese derived Haval H2 has been spotted by the paparazzi on the streets of Tehran. It had a temporary number plate issued to cars deemed ready for test drive in urban areas, local automotive website Asbe Bokhar reported. The vehicle is to be produced by local carmaker Bahman Group. The company showcased the model during the Mashhad Motor Show in August in eastern Iran. If the model passes the tests, the company will start mass production in the coming months. The H2, coming with a 1.5-liter engine, is a small crossover. Haval is a Chinese automotive brand owned by Great Wall Motors. The sub-brand was introduced in March 2013.
