Haima S5 to Arrive in Winter

Iran Khodro has announced that its latest crossover Haima S5 will arrive before the Iranian year ends in March 2018. The company’s marketing director Mostafa Khan Karami says, “The presold units of Haima S5 will be delivered in winter,” local automotive website Persian Khodro reported. However, IKCO sales behavior is marred with broken promises to the chagrin of customers and it is not certain if the company will be able to meet the self-imposed deadline. Haima S5 is a small Chinese derived crossover and has a 1.5-liter turbo engine, CVT automatic gearbox, and 161 hp. IKCO launched online presales of the model in September and all units of the model were sold within the first few hours. Three other Chinese cars are already being sold by the company, namely the large SUV Haima S7 and two Dongfeng models.
