Sapra Motor, a newly launched auto dealership and distributer of Opel in Iran, has started the presale of the Mokka X 2017 in cash and three-step prepayment. The company is offering two versions of the model, namely Innovation and Edition, with 90- and 120-working-day delivery, Asbe Bokhar reported. The price of “Innovation” is set at 1.799 billion rials ($47,300) and “Edition” will cost 1.489 billion rials ($39,184), while customers can buy the cars with a minimum deposit of 400 million rials ($10,500) and pay the rest in two 45-day intervals. Sapra offers buyers a 22% interest based on a Mosharekat deal–a Sharia-based partnership contract between the borrower and the lender. The Mokka does not stand out as much as its rivals in terms of style, but its high ground clearance, black plastic-molded bumpers and roof bars do lend it an off-road look. Inside, it is quite similar to the latest Opel Astra with a quality feel to the plastics and a spacious driver’s area. The SUV comes with a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine and is equipped with a 6-speed automatic and manual transmission.
