The International Automobile, Spare Parts and Related Industries Exhibition opened in the city of Mashhad in Khorasan Razavi Province this week.
A large number of local and foreign manufacturers are showing their latest locally assembled and import models as well as auto parts.
According to Ehsan Arkani, the director of the event, 150 automakers and auto parts manufacturers from Iran and other countries are attending, local auto website Asbe Bokhar reported.
“More than 60 representatives of producers of vehicles, motor oil, engine parts, tires and electric parts from different countries, including Japan, South Korea, China, Turkey, Germany, France, Italy and Poland, are present at the event,” he added.
Local carmakers also unveiled a new model at the event, including one locally assembled Chinese model.
Bahman Group, a private domestic automaker, is offering various services and products by its subsidiaries, Bahman Motor, Siba Motor and Bahman Diesel.
The company introduced FAW’s entry-level Besturn B30 sedan produced in collaboration with Iran’s Crouse Group. The model, which was initially produced by Chinese carmaker FAW under the name Besturn, comes after a fairly successful experience of selling Besturn B50 in the local market.
Karmania, a subsidiary of Kerman Khodro, launched the presale of its newly unveiled BYD F3 at the Mashhad show.
Mashhad Motor Show is one of the prominent auto events in the country. The last round of the event in August 2016 brought together many local and foreign players in the auto industry.
