Vintage Car Show in Fars Province

A vintage car show is set to be held in the city of Abadeh, in  Fars Province today, where hundreds of classics from across the country will be displayed. The gathering, hosted by Abadeh Municipality, will host models older than 30 years and have a price range of 150 million to 3 billion rials ($4,000 to $80,000), ISNA reported. Farhad Khaksar, director of the show said the event is good for owners and car enthusiasts.   “It is the first time are holding such an event.” Models of Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, Jaguar, Fiat, Toyota, and Peugeot are on show among others. Classic car shows are becoming a regular fixture in several cities in Iran. A similar first-time event was held in Kurdistan region in April, with more than 500 vehicles on display.
