Kerman Motor Offering More Models

Kerman Motor, a local auto manufacturer and official representative of China’s JAC, aims to grab a bigger market share by introducing new models. As revealed by domestic media outlets, Kerman Motor will unveil the Chinese JAC S3 in Shiraz Motor Show in the coming days, and the new model will be priced at 719 million rials ($19,200) for October delivery. However, earlier reports had claimed that the small crossover would enter the market in June, the local auto website, Persian Khodro, reported. JAC S3 sits below its sibling, the S5, which is already being assembled and sold in the local market for the past couple of years. The mini SUV is equipped with a nippy 1.6-liter, 111 hp engine, CVT gearbox and electronic power steering system, according to reports from China. The company’s officials have also announced that the assembly of JAC S4 is planned to be launched at the end of the current fiscal (March 2018), the report added.
