Negin Khodro, the official dealer of imported Renault cars in Iran, is expanding the number of its dealerships, said the marketing manager of the company, Mohammad Mortezai.
"In this fiscal year (started in March), nine new dealerships have been added to our network," Mortezai told the automotive website Persian Khodro.
He says the strategy of his company is "to gain the trust of buyers by providing access to modern and efficient representatives."
The new dealerships are in Yazd, Kerman, Tehran, Sari, Shiraz, Babol and Ahvaz, all of which are required to also provide after-sales services.
The Tehran and Shiraz branches have been set up under direct investment by Negin Khodro, while the other cities are third-party registered dealers.
Negin Khodro sells the French brand luxury vehicles including the Talisman and Captur models as well as rebadged Dacia Duster.
In addition to Negin Khodro, the Paris-based multinational signed contracts more than two years ago with Pars Khodro, another local automaker, to produce other rebadged Dacia models under the Renault moniker like the Dacia Sandero.
