In sum, 115,896 units were sold by the company in the first quarter of last year, while this year’s number stands at 125,787 units, up 8.5%.

The data does not mention production and sales figures of the Peugeot 2008 model, which went on pre-sale in the past week, and the locally-assembled Haima S7 SUV.

The data, however, includes other vehicles produced by the firm namely, Peugeot 206, 405, Pars, and its own branded Samand, Soren, Runna and Dena models.

IKCO recently said the Peugeot 2008, Dena+ and face lifted Dacia Logan (sold as a Renault Tondar) will all go on sale in the coming weeks.

Future production figures of the Peugeot 2008 model will be published by the joint venture IKAP, which was created in 2016 by Iran Khodro and Peugeot.
