Negin Khodro, the official dealership of imported Renault vehicles in Iran, released the final price of its new model of a luxury SUV. The price tag for the latest Koleos is 1.995 billion rials (€49,320), the local automotive website Donyaye Khodro said at the weekend. The new generation Koleos can be purchased from the company with a down payment of 1 billion rials (€24,485). However, neither Negin's own website nor the original Persian-language article say what interest rate they will charge or the number of installments on offer. In an interview with Tasnim News Agency in December, the company CEO, Jamshid Husseini, said that the estimated 2-billion-rial price tag “could change due to fluctuations in the foreign exchange rate.” Over the past four months the price has not increased from what the company chief had announced. The vehicle is not yet available in Europe, however, in Australia a basic-spec model sells for AU$29,990 or 896 million rials.
