Hyundai i10, i20 Presales Begin

Kerman Motor, the latest local company that will produce foreign-branded cars, has announced the prices of two of their new vehicles. According to a press release by the company, published by Persian Khodro, a local automotive website, the company will be offering the latest i10 and i20 hatchbacks from May.Down payments for the i20 start at 450 million rials ($11,000). The price of the car, according to the report, is 869 million rials ($22,000) if the vehicle is bought up front. Meanwhile, the price for the smaller i10 ‘city car’ is 719 million rials ($18,400) and will also be available from May.  The company is also offering long term monthly payment plans for this model. As the two models will be assembled locally, at least 30% of their parts must be produced in Iran.
