Turkey Auto Production Up 19% in Nov.

Turkey’s motor vehicle output totaled 150,681 units through November rising 19% year-on-year (y/y), as well as 3.3% up month-on-month (m/m), according to the monthly statistics released by the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD). In the January to November period, Turkey produced 1,329,812 vehicles, up 8% y/y, Steel Orbis reported. In November, passenger car output amounted to 104,737 units, increasing by 44%, while commercial output totaled 45,944 units, down 14% y/y. In the first eleven months of the year commercial output totaled 485,887 units, down 6% on the preceding year. The overall production capacity utilization rate of the Turkish industry was 104% in November 2016, while the percentage  was 84 through January to November.
