In an interview with Tasnim News Agency, the company CEO, Jamshid Husseini, said that the 2 billion rial price tag “could change due to the ongoing fluctuations in the exchange rate.” According to the company official, the latest model of Koleos is likely to arrive at the beginning of the next fiscal year (March 2017). After the successful introduction of the large luxury Talisman sedan, the only Koleos to be imported will be the full-options version. He further noted that the imported vehicle will have to be adapted to local emissions regulations (currently Euro 4) as the car is designed for the European market which has a minimum requirement of Euro 6 fuel.
