Media Motors, the main distributor of MG cars in Iran, is offering sales packages for MG6 with a loan of $17,000. The car is priced at 1,370,000,000 rials ($39,000 at market exchange rate). Car buyers can get the model with an upfront payment of 410,000,000 rials and the rest needs to be paid off in 12 months following the vehicle’s delivery. In recent months, several carmakers have begun offering larger interest-free loans to entice buyers to buy their models, as competition is gradually increasing. Earlier this month, Mitsubishi and MVM (Chery) highlighted their payment plans at zero interest to boost their market share. MVM, in particular, is now offering their smallest model at 70 million rials down payment, with the rest paid off in installments lasting 36 months.
