4th Int’l Auto Confab in Autumn

The Fourth International Conference of Auto Industry will be held this autumn in the Iranian capital Tehran, according to automotive sources. Sasan Qorbani, the secretary of the event, noted that key areas of discussion include the share of services in brand promotion and troubleshooting the service chain. He added that key criteria in customer satisfaction will be discussed as well as the role of policies and regulations and successful models in offering services, Mizan reported. Qorbani noted that foreign companies that will be attending are mostly car exporters, while local manufacturers in Iran will also be present. Automotive firms from Germany, France, India and Japan will also be taking part in the landmark event. “Like earlier editions, negotiations will be underway with foreign car and auto part manufacturers and a number of MoUs are likely to be signed,” he said. Iran’s auto import industry has seen a steady growth in recent months, as foreign automakers reenter the domestic market.
