The brakes were pulled on the production of five cars in the Iranian month ending August 21.

One model was the Voleex C30 manual transmission, which used to be produced by Rayen Khodro, a subsidiary of Kerman Motor Company. A total of 700 units of the model were produced during the same period of the year before, ISNA reported.

LandMark and ASA B50 (4X4 vehicles) were two other models that Bahman Group stopped producing

During the same period of the previous year, 9 and 58 units of each were produced respectively.

The production of two cars made by Diar Khodro, known as Sabrina and Great Wall M4, has also been stopped. During the corresponding period of last year, 40 and 13 units of the two models were produced respectively.

The Department of Environment authorized the production of the Sabrina hybrid vehicles last year, but production issues were never resolved.
