Over 110 local and foreign auto firms will attend International Urmia Motor Show in West Azarbaijan Province on September 6-9, said the director of the fair.
“The motor show will be held at Urmia Permanent Fairground spread over 12,000 square meters,” Asre Khodro quoted Alireza Ajezi as saying.
“The exhibition will have sections dedicated to auto parts and vehicles. Aside from imported and local-made heavy duty vehicles and passenger cars, auto parts firms offering services and insurance will also be taking part.”
Highlighting the geological position of the province, the official said that the proximity of Urmia to neighboring countries and nearby customs will contribute to the growth and prosperity of the exhibition.
With the lifting of western-imposed sanctions, Iran’s economic conditions are gradually recovering and exports are increasing.
Ajezi said the exhibition is, therefore, expected to be more rewarding than previous editions.
