The Third Auto Show of Alborz Province has been scheduled for September 27-30. Saeed Mahmoudi, the director of the show, added that the exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade and noted that it will encompass a wide range of fields, including passenger cars, heavy duty vehicles, motorbikes, auto parts, automotive technologies and after-sales services among many more. Pointing to Iran's slowly recovering economy in the post-sanctions era, the official said this year's event is bound to receive more visitors than the previous years, the local automotive website Persian Khodro quoted Mahmoudi as saying. Over 150 automotive firms had taken part in previous editions of the show that reportedly received more than 200,000 visitors. Several brands participated in the previous editions, including Iran Khodro Company, SAIPA, Kerman Motor Company, Modiran Vehicle Manufacturing Company and Media Motors.
