Production of Brilliance H3 sedan has kicked off in China. The East Asian partner assembler of BMW launched its new large sedan previously known as F20 to the Chinese auto market this week. The new H3 is pegged to replace the older H330 model, which is currently being assembled by SAIPA in Iran and sells at 45 million rials ($13,450). The H3 will be available with two engines, a 110hp 1.5-liter and 147hp 1.5-liter turbo, both mated to a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic. The basic version of H3 comes in at 70,000 yuan ($10,360) with the feature-packed version costing 90,000 yuan ($13,700). The car, which resembles a BMW grill at the front and the new version of Hyundai’s Accent rear, is likely to make it to the Iranian market by 2017, as the company is hoping to broaden its offering in the Iranian market.
