Austrians are interested in automotive cooperation with their Iranian counterparts, the secretary of Iranian Car Part Makers Association said.
Sasan Qorbani was also quoted as saying by ISNA that the Iranian team discussed cooperation in car parts and auto industry with Austrian industry professionals.
"Austria is one of the key car part producers in Europe," he said, adding that Iran signed a memorandum of understanding with three Austrian car part makers during the visit.
The Austrian companies said they are ready to make their intended car parts in Iran and send them to Europe. Iran and Austrian car part makers agreed to form a joint committee whose meetings would be held in Tehran and Vienna in a rotating format.
