Iran’s Customs Administration has released figures for the first seven months of the Iranian year (started March 21) and reported that 23,786 vehicles worth $576,444,344 have been imported. Compared to the year ending Sept. 22, 2015, the figure of vehicles has fallen by 68% in terms of volume and 48.02% in terms of value. According to the report, during the Iranian month of Mehr (started Sept. 23) 2,907 vehicles were imported at a cost of $79,501,948. Compared to the same period of last year, this indicates a drop of 89% in terms of volume and 41.87% in terms of value.
