Iran's largest car producer, Iran Khodro, participated in a car show called AIAS-2015 in the Kazakh capital city of Astana this week.
The company presented four vehicles in Central Asia's largest annual car exhibition, including Dena, Soren ELX and Arisan pickup.
The auto show also displayed industrial machinery and light and heavy vehicle technologies from various countries.
Reports said IKCO's booth attracted a large number of visitors with some requesting further information about the sale of vehicles in their respective CIS countries, according to IKCO.
Entry into new markets in countries east of the Caspian Sea, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan, has been among the main goal of IKCO.
IKCO's products such as Samand are well known in the Russian market and other countries in East Europe, including Ukraine and Belarus.
Iran Khodro plans to expand its presence in these markets and increase its share in the CIS countries with new products.
The last round of Kazakhstan Auto Show held in 2014 attracted more than 14,000 visitors.
The third round of the show was held from 9 to 11 October with the aim of expanding trade cooperation between regional countries in the auto industry.
