70% Decline in Iran's Trade With USA

Iran’s commercial exchanges with the United States saw a 70% decline during the first seven months of 2019 compared with last year's corresponding period to reach $49 million.
Latest foreign trade data from the US Census Bureau show Iran’s import from the country amounted to 47.8 million from January to July, registering a year-on-year drop of 51%.
This is while Iran exported only $1.2 million worth of goods to the US during the same period, which shows a considerable fall of 98%, Tasnim News Agency reported.
Iran was the United States’ 158th export destination and the 202nd exporter of goods to the US during the period. Its import from the US stood at $6.3 million, while Iran’s exports totaled $0.2 million in July.
