The First International Exhibition of Top Brands in Footwear, Bag and Sports Equipment will be held in Tehran from August 27 to 30.
According to the event’s website at www.iranshobs.com, the exhibition is the first of its kind in the field of shoes, bags and sports equipment, bringing domestic and foreign producers together to showcase their latest products.
Representatives from Turkey and China will also take part in the four-day event to showcase their raw materials, designs and technical know-how.
It will be held at the world's biggest shopping center, Iran Mall, in northwest Tehran. The mega project is still partially under construction. Its first of two phases opened in 2018 and occupies an area of 1.4 million square meters. The roof of the mall serves as a sports complex with long routes for hiking, cycling and other public activities. It includes 15 sports fields, tennis courts, a 12,000-square-meter ice rink and swimming pools. The remaining 550,000 square meters are to be inaugurated as part of the second phase.
When the project is complete, the total area of the mall will span 1.95 million square meters.
