Iran's major aluminum producers' output stood at 83,207 tons during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21-July 22), which indicates a 32% decrease compared with last year's corresponding period, the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported.
Flagship producer Iran Aluminum Company accounted for 61,208 tons of the total figure, registering an increase of 1% year-on-year. It was followed by Hormozal Aluminum Company with 10,632 tons, down 72% YOY; and Almahdi Aluminum Company with 9,800 tons, down 59% YOY.
Aluminum production during the month to July 22 stood at 21,061 tons to witness a fall of 31% YOY.
