Close to 21,000 Public Complaints Against Goods, Service Providers

A total of 20,955 public complaints were filed against goods and service providers with the industries, mining and trade organizations of provinces in the Iranian month ended July 22, according to an official with Consumers and Producers Protection Organization.
“The lion’s share of the complaints against goods providers was related to bread, fruit and vegetables,” Gholamreza Saremian was also quoted as saying by Mizan Online.
Restaurants and auto repair shops accounted for a majority of complaints.
“About 68% of these complaints have so far been addressed,” he said.
Most of the complaints pertained to profiteering and fraud. 
Iranian citizens can file complaints against businesses via the hotline 124.
