Iran Chamber of Commerce Delegation to Visit Austria in October

Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture plans to send an economic delegation to Austria in October. 
The delegation is expected to start a four-day visit from Oct. 2.
The mission will consist of traders and industry players in a wide range of fields, including pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, construction, tourism, food industries, energy, recycling, water and sewage, and auto parts, the chamber’s news service reported.

Latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show Iran traded 76,689 tons of non-oil goods worth $33.23 million with Austria during the first Iranian month (March 21-April 20) to register a 381.28% and 124.12% growth in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period.
Austria was Iran's 18th biggest trading partner during the period under review.
Iran’s exports to Austria stood at 180 tons worth $739,443 to register a 71.41% and 73.74% decrease in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. Austria was Iran’s 47th export destination in the world.
Iran exported antiserum, essential oil, raisins and watermelon to Austria during the month.
Austria exported 76,509 tons of commodities worth $32.49 million to Iran, up by 399.89% and 170.51% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. It was the 12th exporter of goods to Iran during the period.
Iran mainly imported barley, field corn, paper, medical products and pharmaceuticals from Austria.
