Iran traded 40,377 tons of non-oil goods worth $28.2 million with Switzerland during the first Iranian month (March 21-April 20), registering an 89.54% and 82.56% decline in tonnage and value respectively compared with the year before, latest available data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
Switzerland was Iran's 20th biggest trading partner during the period under review.
Iran’s exports to Switzerland reached 23 tons worth $29,308 to register a 44.65% rise in tonnage and 85.28% decline in value year-on-year.
Switzerland was Iran’s 85th export destination in the world.
Iran exported dates, valves, food products and dried fruits to Switzerland during the month.
Switzerland exported 40,354 tons of commodities worth $28.18 million to Iran, down by 89.55% and 82.56% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. Switzerland was the 14th exporter of goods to Iran during the month under review.
Iran mainly imported field corn, textile fibers, air pumps, vegetable seeds and barley from Switzerland.
