The 11th Tehran Auction, which presented Iranian artworks on July 5, grossed 422.04 billion rials ($3.24 million), registering a 23% growth compared with the previous round.
The auction hosted at Tehran’s Parsian Azadi Hotel featured 78 classic and modern artworks.
A work by Parviz Tanavoli, Iranian sculptor, painter and scholar, was sold for 32 billion rials ($246,153) to become the most valuable sale in this round, Honar Online reported.
