190% Rise in Iran's Non-Oil Trade With Netherlands

Iran traded 327,031 tons worth $130.33 million with the Netherlands during the first Iranian month (March 21-April 20), registering a 366.81% and 190.61% growth in tonnage and value respectively compared with the year before, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
The Netherlands was Iran's ninth biggest trading partner during the period.
Iran’s exports to the country stood at 999 tons worth $1.11 million to register a 60.28% and 73.49% decline in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. 
The Netherlands was Iran’s 43rd export destination.
Iran exported ferrochrome, saffron, machinery and vegetables during the one-month period.
The Netherlands exported 326,032 tons of commodities worth $129.21 million to Iran, up by 382.72% and 217.93% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. It was the fifth exporter of goods to Iran during the month.
Iran mainly imported soybean, field corn, oilcake and medical tools from the Netherlands.
