Bushehr, Ilam and Kurdestan saw the highest year-on-year, month-on-month and average annual inflation respectively. Hormozgan had the lowest YOY and MOM rates, while Qom experienced the lowest annual average inflation

Bushehr’s goods and services Consumer Price Index registered an increase of 65.3% during the second Iranian month (April 21-May 21) compared with the similar month of last year, the highest among all Iranian provinces.
The year-on-year CPI increase was the lowest for Hormozgan Province with 43.5%, the Statistical Center of Iran reported.  
The overall goods and services CPI in Iran registered a YOY increase of 52.1% in the month. 
The overall CPI calculated for the country (using the Iranian year to March 2017 as the base year) stood at 173.5, indicating a 1.5% rise compared with the previous month.
