ICCIMA Surveys State Entities Shaping Business Environment

Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture is conducting a survey into the performance of organizations and agencies of three branches of the government (legislative, judiciary and executive) that have a hand in shaping Iran’s business environment.
The survey is a first of its kind in the country and evaluates the performance of organizations at provincial and national levels regarding the ease of doing business, ease of administrative procedures and issuance of permits as well as the fair and timely handling of complaints and the conduct of their staff with business owners.
The rating scale is from 1 to 10, with 1 marking the poorest performance and 10 being the best.
The first round of the survey began on May 4 to cover the performance of 40 organizations.
An electronic questionnaire was made available for 3,400 economic players from three chambers of commerce, guilds and cooperatives on ICCIMA’s online services portal.
Select businesspeople will have 20 days to fill out the questionnaire.
The findings of the survey will be released by June 21, Otaghiranonline.ir reported.
