Iran's Non-Oil Trade With Taiwan Hit $600m Last Year

Iran traded 686,597 tons of non-oil commodities worth $600 million with Taiwan in the last fiscal year that ended on March 20, 2019, to register a 53.27% and 45.91 decline in tonnage and value respectively compared with the year before, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
Iran’s exports to Taiwan stood at 572,098 tons worth $278.93 million, down 54.28% and 51.62% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. 
Taiwan was Iran’s 15th export destination during the period under review.
Iran mainly exported liquefied propane, non-alloy iron/steel, non-alloy aluminum, ammonia and liquefied butane to Taiwan.
Taiwan exported 114,498 tons of goods worth $321.94 million to Iran, down 47.47% and 39.76% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. 
Taiwan was the 23rd exporter of goods to Iran last year.
The imports mainly included fibers, steel products and polyvinyl chloride.
