Iran's Non-Oil Trade With Malaysia Crosses $640 Million

Iran traded 968,360 tons of non-oil commodities worth $642 million with Malaysia in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2019) to register a 9.56% and 7.72% decrease in tonnage and value respectively compared with the year before, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
Iran’s exports to Malaysia stood at 604,308 tons worth $246.93 million, down 4.91% in tonnage and up 19.72% in value year-on-year. 
Malaysia was Iran’s 19th export destination during the year.
Iran mainly exported gas condensates, non-alloy iron/steel ingots, chemicals and bitumen to Malaysia during the period.
It exported 364,052 tons of goods worth $395.51 million to Iran, down 16.34% and 19.27% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. 
Malaysia was the 19th exporter of goods to Iran over the year.
Imports mainly included palm oil, natural rubber and machinery.
