Iran Airport Traffic Down 13%

Iran Airports Company registered 34,178 takeoffs and landings during the 11th month of the last Iranian year (Jan. 21-Feb. 19, 2019), which shows a 13% decline compared with the similar period of last year.
More than 4.25 million passengers and 41,741 tons of cargos were transported during the month under review, registering a 12% and 8% year-on-year decline respectively, IAC's latest data published on its website show.
This is while airport traffic, passenger and cargo transportation figures show a 4%, 10% and 13% rise respectively compared with the previous month (Dec. 20, 2018-Jan. 20, 2019), when 32,951 takeoffs and landings were registered. These flights transported 3.88 million passengers and 37,002 tons of cargo.
