Iran’s 21 major ports loaded and unloaded 105.9 million tons of commodities during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2018-Jan. 20) to register a 16.95% decline compared with the corresponding period of last year.
According to figures published on the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran's website, non-oil goods accounted for close to 74.95 million tons of the total throughput, showing an 18.56% fall year-on-year.
The remaining 30.96 million tons pertained to oil products, indicating a 12.8% decline YOY.
