Iran Aluminum Output Tops 260,000 Tons

The output of Iran's major aluminum producers stood at an aggregate of 267,053 tons during the 10 months to Jan. 20, which indicates a 5% decline compared with last year's corresponding period, the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported.
Flagship producer Iran Aluminum Company accounted for 145,250 tons of the total figure, registering a 2% growth year-on-year, followed by Hormozal Aluminum Company with 73,090 tons, down 17% YOY, and Almahdi Aluminum Company with 48,713 tons, up 4% YOY.
