Iran Furniture Exports Triple to $36 Million Over 9 Months

Iran exported $36 million worth of furniture during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Dec. 21) to register a huge hike of 227% compared with last year’s corresponding period.
Iraq, Afghanistan and Oman were the biggest destinations for Iranian furniture during the period. These countries registered a respective year-on-year growth of 241%, 157% and 160% in their imports of Iranian furniture.
Iran’s furniture industry is said to have an 8% share in generating employment nationwide.
