Iran traded 1.7 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $607.28 million with the member states of United Nations’ African Group during the first nine months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Dec. 21) to register a 14.27% and 18.38% fall in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period.
Latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show Iran’s exports totaled 1.63 million tons worth $513.51 million during the period under review, indicating a 13.96% and 6.86% decrease in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year.
Imports stood at 76,532 tons worth $93.76 million, down 20.32% and 51.34% in tonnage and value respectively YOY.
