Commission Moves to Stem Tax Evasion by Physicians

Physicians are no exception when it comes to taxation and the fight against tax evasion; they should pay their taxes in proportion to their income, a member of Majlis Joint Commission said. 
Mohammad Hossein Farhangi's comments came after a letter by Iran Medical Council to Majlis Health Commission against two articles added to the government’s proposed budget bill for the next fiscal (March 2019-20) regarding taxation of medical practitioners.
