TCCIM to Establish Management Assessment Center

Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture plans to set up a management assessment center for private sector entities.
Many state-owned and private organizations still apply traditional methods to assess their managers and employees, relying on educational degrees or interviews, without considering many other important factors, the chamber’s news service reported.
According to an official with the chamber's Educational Department, the assessment center aims to improve the selection process for giving responsibilities to potential managers.
Nasser Andalib added that managerial candidates presented by economic companies and entities will be assessed by several assessment experts. Subsequently, their strengths and weaknesses will be specified and decisions will be made about their employment.
