Iran traded 2.28 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $2.68 billion with South Korea during the first nine months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Dec. 21).
This marks a 73.26% and 54.13% decline in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year's corresponding period, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
Iran’s exports to South Korea stood at 1.61 million tons worth $853.34 million, down 78.35% and 72.76% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year.
South Korea was Iran’s eighth major export destination during the period. It exported 676,787 tons of goods worth $1.83 billion to Iran, down 39.16% and 32.68 in tonnage and value YOY respectively.
South Korea was the third major exporter of goods to Iran over the nine months.
