Hike in Sistan-Baluchestan Exports to Pakistan

More than $253.65 million worth of commodities were exported from the southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan Province to Pakistan during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Oct. 22) to register a 115% hike compared with the corresponding period of last year.

According to the head of Sistan-Baluchestan Industries, Mining and Trade Organization, Nader Mirshekar, the exports mainly included construction materials, dates, tomatoes, vegetables and gas, IRNA reported.

Sistan-Baluchestan has around 921 kilometers of common border with Pakistan.
