Iran and Kuwait have agreed to increase their cooperation in exchanges of labor force, technical knowhow and engineering services. In a meeting held in Kuwait City, Iranian ambassador Alireza Enayati and Kuwaiti Labor Minister Hind Barrak Al-Sabih conferred over finalization of a labor cooperation agreement signed several years ago between the two countries. Al-Sabih invited his Iranian counterpart Ali Rabiie to visit Kuwait in order to discuss the Persian Gulf country’s request for skilled Iranian workers to enter the Kuwaiti market. Back in 2001, Iran and Kuwait signed a bilateral cooperation agreement that focused on regulation of the supply of Iranian labor force to Kuwait. The agreement was approved by the Iranian parliament in September of the same year.
